Hi There, So, I actually filed a new claim with an over the phone representative who put the start date for March 14th, 2021; the last day of my 3/29/20 claim. Perhaps this is part of the issue? Mailed on 3/24 I received my PUA award letter. And then, mailed on 4/08, I received an amendment to continue my PEUC program. I received additional payments to equal the higher weekly amount. And then all payments stopped. There was an overlap of certifying for two weeks, and then being requested to certify for one of those weeks, again. Perhaps this was due to implementing the new PEUC award, but not finishing the original PUA award? I have now continued to certify on a weekly basis only, so it appears they have removed the confusing, additional, biweekly certification. Yet, unfortunately I have not been paid for 5 weeks. No luck in contacting them over the phone. Do you suggest I email them? Call them? Or neither? Thank You. Visual Aids are below:

In PUA Claimants
Hi there! I have a new PUA claim beginning. On the question as to “what reason best describes how your unemployment was caused by Covid 19? The closest answer is 7a. That my business is closed. It is now re-opened but only allows two employees (maybe 3, now) and I have already been let go, as the store is very small, and they’ve cut way back. How shall I respond? It’s the closest to my reason, but it’s not 100% accurate.

In Identity Verification
Good Morning! My PEUC ended on 12/27, or thereabouts. In reading about verifying my identity, I am still not being given the option to certify for benefits. It reads that they have received my certification for my final week (12/22 ? to 12/26), but that it is in pending status. I cannot remember the initial date I called in. Perhaps in mid December? I was instructed to call back on or after 12/26 and request to speak to a specialist. On 12/28/20, with the help from an edd/ui rep, in real-time, I uploaded the necessary documents to verify my identity. I then called in again on 1/5/21. This rep stated that my claim is under review, that I will receive 11 weeks and the 300+. She also informed me that my ID is cleared and confirmed, but that it is processing. She gave me the direct number to the ID department. My last 450. from approximately 12/21 to 12/26 is still pending. Do I go ahead and call the ID department? Or sit tight? I apologize for my convoluted inquiry. I’m a little unclear in my recollection, an challenged by trying to decipher my notes. 🥴 And I’m uber stressed! 😬 I so appreciate this resource.
