Hi there! I have a new PUA claim beginning. On the question as to “what reason best describes how your unemployment was caused by Covid 19? The closest answer is 7a. That my business is closed. It is now re-opened but only allows two employees (maybe 3, now) and I have already been let go, as the store is very small, and they’ve cut way back. How shall I respond? It’s the closest to my reason, but it’s not 100% accurate.
To be eligible for PUA, it requires you to be effected by COVID-19. So as long as you pick an answer the closest to why you are unemployed that would be sufficient. If you choose "none of the above" then you will be disqualified from receiving PUA.
