My 10 day window of verifying identity is almost up! Am I going to lose my benefits?

EDD Newsletter says they are extending the time to verify your identity from 10 days to 30.

I need to verify my identity but I'm not sure what to do?

When will I get my 1099G tax form?

They are beginning to send this form out to any claimants who received benefits that were taxable during 2020. If you need additional guidance in regards to the 1099G form here are some resources:

If you believe you received forms that do not belong to you, mark it "Return to Sender" and send it back to EDD

You can call 1-866-401-2849 if you don't agree with it or if you believe you are a victim of fraud. They are open 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Caller ID may show "St of CAEDD" or the UI Customer Service Number 1-800-300-5616 from 8:00am - 8:00pm
If you opted in for SMS text, messages are sent from 510-74 or 918-06
