8/22/20 Update: CA Application for Lost Wages Assistance Program to FEMA has been APPROVED. But still awaiting implementation
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
EDD states these funds will be available for a minimum of three weeks.
Most people will get is only $300. CA says they don't have money to make up for the $100
Anyone who has a weekly benefit amount below $100 will not qualify
Because of this new eligibility requirement, EDD might have to reprogram the system. If so, that means needing time to get it distributed.
Congress can still pass a stimulus package in September and have that be signed and written into law
