I've had this same problem, and I've had to call every two weeks and have EDD push my payment through. If you didn't work at all in 2020 your reupped claim has not been approved, even tho we were required to refile. They've probably just extended your old claim until Sept. But since the new claim has been denied, it kicks you onto pending and won't push the payment through. It's a glitch in their system. I have to call a million times every two weeks. Best bet - call at exactly 8am, if you don't get through in 15 min, stop calling and try again at 11am. It's incredibly annoying. Each time I get through they say it won't be a problem the next time but it always is.
