Just wanted to start a discussion on how this is implemented. I spoke to a specialist yesterday, 1/29/21, and was told they’re still working on it. There seems to be confusion as the official stance is it will be added “automatically” to those who qualify - those on regular unemployment who received more than $5k in 1099 income in 2019. But I don’t recall being able to submit any of my self employment income during. The application process as it only took w2.
if anyone has any more information on how to apply for the extra $100/ week please post it here.
Honestly I would take a guess that this is going to be one of the very last things they implement. The bigger issues would be getting all the extensions working for everyone before they consider this MEUC stuff. So I assume once they button up this extension stuff as well as the additional $300 (which I would guess would take them another 2-3 weeks) thats when they would consider the protocols for the additional $100 for MEUC. I'm also hybrid and did not submit anything regarding my 1099 income.
